Testing is over. TrainMaster.pro launches with a free marketplace for coaches across all sports.

Following beta testing and in-depth interviews, TrainMaster.pro is entering the market. Rather than selling coaches yet another tool, the Polish sports-tech start-up is making its marketplace and tools for coaches available free of charge – the public profile, search and the platform’s operational core are available without a subscription.

Key changes at TrainMaster.pro:

  • TrainMaster.pro is now publicly available to trainers and coaches across all sports.
  • Marketplace-first – coach search and public profiles are the core of the platform, while the business tools available to coaches form a supporting layer.
  • No subscription fee or charges for using the TrainMaster.pro platform.
  • A new marketplace look and a refreshed layout.
  • The platform remains multi-sport: from personal training and strength sports to running, tennis, combat sports, swimming, cycling, team sports, dance, winter sports and other disciplines.

TrainMaster.pro has completed the development phase in which the main objective was to gather product feedback. Following beta testing, conversations with coaches and in-depth interviews, the team has closed the initial market-fit phase.

Insights from the interviews led to a refreshed website, a rethink of the product strategy and a revised go-to-market model. Three messages came through most strongly from coaches. First, the greatest value lies in the simplicity and functionality of the existing coach dashboard. Second, the fixed cost of tools is a barrier for many coaches if it does not translate directly into results. Third, operational functionality alone is not enough if the platform does not help a coach increase visibility and reach new clients.

The research was qualitative and does not mean that the overall product-market fit process is complete. It did, however, give the platform’s creators specific feedback that allowed them to align the product direction and go-to-market strategy more closely with the expectations of real coaches. The marketplace is intended to be the main reason for a coach to create a profile on TrainMaster.pro, while the free operational tools are intended to make the platform useful in day-to-day work with clients as well.

The most important conclusion from our conversations with coaches is that nobody needs another tool simply because it offers a lot of interesting features. Coaches want to be easier to find, and they want to present their offer professionally and clearly. That is why we changed our priorities and reversed the order. Marketplace and visibility come first, followed by the tools that form the supporting layer. And we are making those tools available for free.

says Eliza Bingul, Founder & CEO of TrainMaster.pro.

Marketplace first: “Coach, get discovered”

Even the best offer will not deliver results if potential clients cannot find it. Today, a coach’s visibility is built not only through Google and social media, but also through AI chats and other specialist industry platforms. Consistent information about specialisations, location and services, an online presence and a coach’s own communication channels all serve one goal: increasing the likelihood that the right person will find that coach’s offer.

That is why every additional, well-described and indexed online profile has real business value. TrainMaster.pro gives coaches such a space free of charge. From the outset, TrainMaster.pro has aimed to support coaches in organising their day-to-day work, building visibility and a personal brand, and growing their business. A free public profile on TrainMaster.pro is intended to make it easier for coaches to reach new clients, while tools that simplify client management and day-to-day work are intended to make the operational side of coaching significantly easier.

In the previous version of TrainMaster.pro, greater emphasis was placed on the operational aspects of a coach’s work. In V2, the marketplace connecting coaches with people looking for support has become the central element of the platform. Users can search for trainers and coaches by sport, specialism, location, language of communication or the availability of online services.

This also changes TrainMaster.pro’s role in a coach’s ecosystem. The platform is not intended to replace Instagram, TikTok, a coach’s own website or direct recommendations. It is intended to be an additional channel through which a coach can easily share a professional profile with clients, promote an offer on social media and connect the public profile with their own website and other channels.

We do not want to lock coaches into another closed ecosystem. A coach’s public profile should work alongside their existing brand. The profile can link to their own website and social media while also offering an additional opportunity to promote and sell coaching services. If a coach only wants to use the profile and tools, that is an option too. If they also want to sell through TrainMaster.pro, they can enable secure payments powered by Stripe. We want TrainMaster.pro to earn alongside the coach, rather than before the coach has seen any value.

adds Eliza Bingul.

A public profile on TrainMaster.pro is more than an online business card for a coach. For those running an ongoing business, it can serve as a central place to present their offer, specialisms, training locations, available ways of working together and links to their own communication channels. At the same time, it can be used to promote seasonal, limited or occasional offers.

A ski instructor can use the profile to sell individual lessons on the slopes or training trips before the season starts. A water sports coach can use it to present summer courses and camps, a strength and conditioning coach can promote programmes preparing athletes for the start of the season, and a running coach can offer training plans linked to a specific marathon or series of races.

The profile can also be used to promote bootcamps, sports camps, weekend sessions, workshops, group training, online consultations, preparation programmes, activities for children and young people, and other events organised outside the standard work schedule.

This means a coach does not need to create a separate website or landing page every time they want to introduce a new service or seasonal offer. They can simply direct people from social media, their own website, a newsletter or printed materials straight to the profile and the selected service. Once Stripe payments are activated, the profile can additionally serve as a sales channel, allowing clients to purchase all services in one place.

In practice, TrainMaster.pro works as both an online business card and a hub for presenting a coach’s offer, and as a broader system for managing the business and client relationships. It also provides a flexible tool for promoting and selling new services exactly when the need arises.

No subscription

Following in-depth interviews and the identification of coaches’ priorities, TrainMaster.pro has completely moved away from the model in which access to the tools was to depend on a monthly subscription.

A coach can create an account, build a public profile, appear in search results and use the operational tools without any subscription fee.

Enabling online payments is optional. If a coach decides to sell through TrainMaster.pro and connects a Stripe Connect account, the platform will charge only a 10% commission on transactions. If a coach does not use platform payments, their paid offer will still generate a direct enquiry from an interested person.

The platform offers paid options that increase visibility or the priority of a profile in search results, and usage-based add-ons, such as additional SMS bundles, are also planned for later stages. Payments are not required to create a profile or use the operational tools.

V2 is not a cosmetic layout change. We rebuilt the experience around the marketplace: the profile, search, location, filters, coach offer and contact are now front and centre. At the same time, we have retained a professional back office for day-to-day work with clients. We want a coach to be able to publish a profile in a few minutes and then use additional tools only when they genuinely need them.

says Marek Kierebiński, Head of Product & Co-Founder of TrainMaster.pro.

Although the marketplace is now the most visible part of TrainMaster.pro, the platform is not limited to a directory of coaches. After logging in, users gain access to tools that support day-to-day work and business growth. They can manage their profile and offer, organise their client base and send invitations to work together, plan their schedule, communicate with clients, create training plans, monitor goal completion, track progress and keep the history of their work with clients in one place.

One platform, different sports

TrainMaster.pro was not created solely for personal trainers or the fitness industry. The platform is open to trainers, instructors and coaches working across different sports, both individual and team-based. It is designed for specialists delivering in-person and online sessions and working with professionals, amateurs, children and people who are just beginning their sporting journey.

What they share is not a specific way of working or training methodology, but similar business challenges. Regardless of the sport, coaches need a place where they can present their offer, build credibility, reach new clients, organise their work with clients and develop their own brand.

Work on V2 was preceded by conversations and interviews with representatives of different sporting environments. These helped identify common areas as well as points where the needs of individual user groups diverge. The difference between independent coaches and sports clubs was particularly clear. Clubs operate through completely different organisational processes and user relationships. They require more advanced management of coaching teams, athletes, parents, training groups, roles and permissions, as well as tools that support the functioning of the whole community around the organisation.

Although TrainMaster.pro has an offering for sports clubs and provides the option to connect coaches to an Enterprise account, the platform is focused primarily on the needs of independent trainers, coaches, instructors and small coaching practices, for whom visibility, client acquisition and efficient day-to-day management are the main priorities.

This approach allows the platform to respond precisely to the needs of its main user group rather than searching for compromises between segments with completely different requirements.

TrainMaster.pro is now available to all coaches

With the launch of TrainMaster.pro V2, the project is entering a new stage of development. The founders are now focusing not on declarations and hypothetical scenarios, but on observing real user behaviour. After months of interviews, testing and conversations with coaches, it is time for the most important validation: seeing how the platform performs in day-to-day work and whether it actually helps coaches grow their businesses.

At this stage, we do not need another round of conversations about what someone might hypothetically want. The platform is available and can now be tested in practice. The best research now will be real user behaviour: whether a coach completes their profile, whether they are found by a potential client, whether an enquiry comes in, whether they return to the tools and whether they decide to sell their services through the platform. Now the product itself has to start generating its own data.

concludes Eliza Bingul.

Today, any trainer, instructor or coach can join TrainMaster.pro, regardless of the sport or the scale of their business. Registration does not require an invitation or participation in a testing programme, and the platform’s core functionality is available free of charge.

TrainMaster.pro has been built as an international platform from the outset. Trainers and coaches from any country can join the marketplace, regardless of where they operate, which sport they work in, or whether they offer training locally, online or in both formats. The only current limitation is the interface language: the platform is currently available in English and Polish. The Polish version was a natural choice because of the founders’ Polish roots. The marketplace is not, however, limited to Poland, the United Kingdom, Ireland or any other selected markets. Coaches from every country are welcome. As the number of coaches in individual markets grows, the platform will develop dedicated local pages and discovery paths to make it easier to find coaches working in a specific country, region or city, while also increasing their local visibility online.

The platform’s creators encourage coaches to create public profiles, present their services and use TrainMaster.pro as an additional channel for building visibility and acquiring clients. At the same time, the platform can serve as a free operational base for organising day-to-day work and managing relationships with clients.

People looking for training support can already use the coach search and browse profiles of specialists across different sports. Active development of the demand side of the marketplace will be the next stage in TrainMaster.pro’s growth. The founders first want to build a broad and diverse base of trainers and coaches so that users have a genuine choice and a high chance of finding the right specialist. After that stage, the plan is to invest in broad promotion of the platform among people looking for training support.

The team’s long-term ambition is to create an ecosystem in which coaches and people who are active in sport can find one another naturally. This would give users looking for coaching support easy access to trusted specialists, while giving coaches an additional channel for growing their business.
